This guide describes the current theme. Theme Store review and acceptance are still pending.

Upload Gift-Studio-0.1.0-Install.zip through Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file. Upload the install ZIP rather than the full development package. Open Customize and preview the unpublished theme before publishing. Installation does not import the demonstration products, images, collections, menus or store policies.

Configure the hero image and text, gift categories, collection products and three-step explanation in the theme editor. Select your own collections and menu links. Header and footer are section groups. Set your store's newsletter and language/country options as appropriate.

A shared Shopify store has one catalogue across its themes. For several theme demos, tag each demo product consistently, create matching collections, and select those collections and menus in each theme. Search and /collections/all can still show products from the whole store; collections do not create access isolation. Do not hide existing products to set up another demo.

Theme settings expose text/background colour pairs, buttons, surfaces, highlights, panels, footer, border and focus colours. Choose readable combinations and check focus visibility after changing colours. Body, heading and code fonts use Shopify font pickers; the theme loads available bold and italic variants.

Set a favicon and social-sharing image under branding. Product pages use product imagery for sharing when available.

Use the default product template for ordinary products. Assign the personalized template in the product's Shopify admin page for a name, message and optional upload. The gift-message template supports message-oriented gifting. The product must be assigned the appropriate template in the store containing this theme.

In Customize, open the product template and select its Personalization block. Toggle fields and required settings there. Uploaded files use the native Shopify product form; supported file selection is JPG, PNG or PDF. Name, message and file links appear as cart line properties. These properties apply to the specific cart line, rather than changing the product catalogue.

Main product and Featured product sections use reorderable blocks. Edit title, price, variant picker, buy buttons, description, delivery, pickup, personalisation and custom content in the relevant section. Enter your actual delivery information in the Delivery block. Blank delivery content is hidden on the storefront; an editor-only prompt helps locate the setting.

Variant changes refresh Shopify pricing, availability and product media. If a change fails to load, the theme prevents adding the stale selection. Retry or reload and verify the selected option before adding it.

Create gift card products using Shopify's native gift card product workflow. Eligible products display the recipient option. Enabling it requires a recipient email and allows a name, message and a send date within 90 days. Recipient details travel through Shopify's native cart properties. Accelerated checkout is hidden for this recipient form. Gift cards do not request physical pickup availability.

The issued gift-card page includes the gift-card code, remaining balance and a QR code. Actual issuing, recipient delivery, phone scanning and POS redemption require separate end-to-end verification; a theme preview is not an issued card.

Related and complementary sections use Shopify recommendations. Select a collection to restrict eligible cards for a demo. Related cards can fall back to the selected collection. Complementary cards are hidden when there are no matching assignments. Assign complementary products through Shopify's supported merchandising tools; the theme does not create those assignments.

Predictive search supports products, collections, pages and articles, with keyboard navigation and a normal search fallback. Product collections and menus do not restrict the store-wide search index.

Native Shopify payment buttons and payment terms depend on the store, product, market, device and payment configuration. The theme does not enable payment methods or subscriptions. Unit prices and selling-plan names display when Shopify provides those values. Configure the product and app data in Shopify first.

Pickup availability depends on eligible physical variants, inventory and Shopify locations. Configure pickup in Shopify admin and verify a real location; theme settings alone cannot enable fulfilment.

Add product images, supported videos and 3D models through Shopify product media. Selected-variant media updates with the variant. Video, 3D viewer and phone AR need testing with actual uploaded media and compatible devices.

Use Apps and supported app blocks for installed Shopify theme app extensions. Custom Liquid is intended for merchant or developer code that should be checked before use. New customer accounts use Shopify's native account component and account link; the theme does not manage customer credentials.

Replace demo imagery, text and links with your own content. Configure policies, delivery information, payment and fulfilment settings in Shopify. Preview homepage, collection, product, search, cart, contact and account journeys on desktop and mobile. Verify required personalisation, recipient fields, variant prices, cart quantities and order data in your store's test workflow.
